Joey Buttafuoco, a colorful auto-body shop owner from New York, became a national figure in the early 1990s when his teenage mistress, Amy Fisher, shot his wife, Mary Jo, in the face. Fisher was dubbed by the New York Daily News as the "Long Island Lolita" and Buttafuoco as "Public Enemy Number One."
