ELMHURST, Ill. -- (WGN) -- Elmhurst police are investigating a robbery at a gas station and looking for a missing clerk.

Police responded to a call around 5 a.m. this morning at the gas station at North Ave and Route 83.

Police have identified the missing store clerk as Simone Boyd. She is 21 years old, about 5 feet tall, 170 pounds with long hair possibly in a ponytail. She was last seen wearing a green, short-sleeved polo shirt and black pants. Surveillance video shows the robber jumping over the counter to grab money and then leaving with Boyd, who appeared terrified.
