Store clerk saves girl who whispered about being kidnapped

HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. -- (KABB) -- A North Carolina convenience store cashier is being called a hero after authorities say he foiled a kidnapping this weekend.
Seth McCall, a clerk at the Mountain Energy convenience store, says things did not seem right when a man walked into his shop with a young girl.
McCall says the girl was "crying her eyes out" standing with the man at the register, and then McCall says she whispered that she had been kidnapped. McCall says the man then grabbed the girl and tried to leave, but McCall was able to call 911 and pin him up against a machine until police arrived.
