CARLSBAD, Calif. -- (KSWB) -- A 37-year-old man could face several criminal charges in connection with robbing a jewelry store of $20,000 worth of diamonds on Friday, a Carlsbad police officer said.

Clyde Lydelle Anderson, of Orange County, was booked into the Vista jail on one count each of robbery, commercial burglary and grand theft from a person, Lt. Chris Boyd added.
