Vero Beach murder suspect believed on run with 2 kids

FELLSMERE, Fla. -- (WJXT) -- The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has issued a missing child alert for Edward Gamez and Lizeht Gamez-Flores.
Edward, 4, has black hair, brown eyes, weighs 30 pounds and is 3 feet tall. Lizeht is 10 months old with black hair, brown eyes and weighs 15 pounds.
The children were last seen in the 100 block of North Oak Street in Sellsmere, Florida. The children may be in the company of their parents, Edward Geovani Guardado Gamez and Maria Maricela Flores Lopez.
According to the Vero Beach Police Department, Gamez is wanted in connection with a Jan. 21 shooting at 1576 Highland Ave.
