UPDATE May 2, 2016: The two missing Glendale tweens were located at a mall in Mesa, Arizona on Tuesday, KNXV reports
GLENDALE, Ariz. -- (KNXV) -- Two Glendale tweens disappeared after a sleepover and their parents fear what may have started as an attempt to run away has turned into a dangerous situation.
Twelve-year-olds Ashlyn Hotchkiss and Dezerea Senters went missing after a Saturday night sleepover.
One of the girl’s parents found a note on the counter reading “good luck finding them,” and the front door was unlocked.
"I think, originally, they ran away, but I think it’s turned into more and they’re in over their heads," said Dezerea’s mom, Jody Greer.
