NORFOLK, Va. -- (WTKR) -- On the corner of Granby and Brambleton, you will find a federal courthouse, a few bars and the beginning of the arts district.

But you won’t find Joseph Kerekes.

Fifteen years ago, Kerekes stood on that very corner struggling for survival. Left with few options, he started selling himself for sex.

It was the beginning of a lifestyle that would eventually lead him down a dark path to murder.
