BALTIMORE -- (WBFF) -- The last text that Pete Nelson received from his colleague, Molly Macauley, was a picture from a Hawaiian-themed dog rescue event in May.
"She had such a nice smile on her face and she seemed happy," said Nelson, who worked with Macauley for 20 years at the D.C. think tank, Resources for the Future. "That's the image I'm going to remember of her going forward."
Nelson was one of dozens in attendance at Second Presbyterian Church on St. Paul Street for a memorial service to celebrate Macauley's life.
