CHICAGO -- (WGN) -- Police are still searching for suspects in the shooting that injured a 10-year-old boy Monday night.
Tavon Tanner was shot outside his family's home in the Lawndale neighborhood. He was rushed to Mt. Sinai Hospital and underwent a four hour surgery. He remains in the hospital
Police say Tavon was standing on the sidewalk in the 3900 block of West Polk St around 10 p.m. last night when gunfire erupted in the neighborhood.
