Man accused of trying to hire hitman to kill wife

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- (WTKR) -- A man is accused of trying to hire a hitman to kill his wife, according to a federal criminal complaint affidavit.
Chadwick Ghesquiere was arrested last week. The member of the Navy is charged with use of interstate commerce facilities in the commission of murder for hire.
Ghesquiere met with a confidential source and discussed killing his wife, according to court documents. He told the source that he and his wife were having marital issues. He wanted to kill her, so “he didn't have to to deal with her or pay child support,” court documents say.
