OCEANSIDE, Calif. -- (KSWB) -- A 15-year-old girl was shot to death in a “targeted" attack at an Oceanside park early Saturday morning, and detectives Sunday said they need tips and clues.
Clues were scarce in the killing of the teen, police said. Her name was Annabelle Flores, friends and family members said, but police would not confirm that.
“We really need the public's help on this,'' Officer Ryan Keim told City News Service. He asked persons with information to call the Oceanside Police Department, at 760-435-4911.
A spokeswoman for the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office Sunday said the case was sealed and no further information would be released at the request of law enforcement.
