Middle Tennessee man solicits sex from minor, brings his baby with him

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- (WZTV) -- A 39-year-old Tennessee man soliciting sex with a mother and daughter on Craigslist brought his baby to a meeting he believed was with a willing participant.

According to the arrest report filed by Murfreesboro Police, Brian Keith Watson allegedly posted an ad on Craigslist seeking a woman and her daughter to engage in sexual activity.

Detectives with the Human Trafficking Division found the ad and responded, posing as a mother. After communicating for six days with Watson, detectives say he solicited sex from a 12-year-old "in great detail."

A meeting was arranged by undercover detectives at a fast food restaurant which Watson then planned to move to a hotel room. Detectives converged outside both locations as the meeting took place Tuesday.

When Watson arrived, detectives say he entered the restaurant holding his 9-month-old baby and approached the undercover detective posing as the solicited woman on Craigslist.
